Mount Pleasant Children's Day Festival Performance

Their performances included a runway show with CDMT kids and teens as well as vocal performances by Savannah Hutchinson and Ashlyn Laney.

Southeast Talent Search Executive Director Cory Dueger was on the lookout for potential talent from the thousands of kids and teens who came out for the festivities.

The Porcaro family on the cover of Lowcountry Parent

In case you haven't had a chance you pick up the latest issue of Lowcountry Parent, check out the pictures below of CD Models and Talent model Sullivan Porcaro of Mount Pleasant, who posed for the magazine's "Fashion Forward" article, showing off the Fall 2010 trends for kids.

Good looks run in the Porcaro family, so much in fact, that his sister Saylor was also involved in the photo shoot. Most exciting of all, the issue features the kids with their mother Michelle on the cover of the September issue.

Michelle shared how she dresses 4-year-old Sullivan and 2-year-old Saylor, "I like the whole outfit to flow. You know, dressier, kind of matchy-matchy."

This photo shoot is an awesome addition to Sullivan's already impressive portfolio. His attendance at the 2010 Southeast Talent Search helped to jump start his growing career. Check out his profile on CDMT.

Saylor & Demeree's Army Wives debut

This past week, Saylor Vonrosenberg and her mother Demeree filmed a scene for the Lifetime original series Army Wives, which is filmed locally at the fictional Fort Marshall in Charleston, South Carolina.

Currently in its fourth season, the series follows the lives of four army wives and one army husband. Tremendously successful, the show had the largest premiere in Lifetime's 23 year history as a network and has brought more than 100 million dollars to the South Carolina economy.

In their scene, Saylor and Demeree play a mother and child who are saying goodbye to Saylor's character's father as he is deployed for war.

Saylor attended the 2010 Southeast Talent Search. The director who casted her, Richard Futch, has also attended the event for many years to scout for clients like Saylor for shows including Army Wives and films such as The Notebook, O, and Little Red Wagon.

The Southeast Talent Search will be holding numerous auditions this summer, including one scheduled during a Riverdogs game July 29th at the Joseph P. Riley Jr. Park.

Don't miss this chance to cheer on your local baseball team and to be seen by SE Talent Search scouts looking for models, actors, singers and dancers of all ages.

Catch Saylor and Demeree's episode that is airing Sunday July 18th on Lifetime.

Savannah Hutchinson

In the late afternoon, Southeast Talent Search veteran Savannah Hutchinson brought in her singing demos to the CDMT office to show off her sultry voice to Cory and Rebecca. On the tracks, the McClellanville native gives her acoustic renditions of Lady Antebellum's "American Honey", Corinne Bailey Rae's "Put Your Records On" and Amy Grant's "Better Than A Hallelujah", showcasing equally the strength and the tenderness of her voice.

On May 29th, Savannah traveled out to the Tanger Outlet in Charleston for the Lowcountry Parent 2nd Annual Fun and Safety Fair to perform in the event's Lowcountry Junior Idol contest, adding more experience to her rapidly growing resume.

Not only does Savannah possess a mature voice for being only 16, but also an alluring look that gives her an "it" factor above your average teenaged singer.
